Titus Rice

My name is Titus Rice. I am currently a Junior undergraduate pursuing a B.S. Degree in Computer Engineering. This is my first year working with the Rambunctious Rams. By working alongside Provine's team, I expect professional growth to take place within all members as we actively participate in the challenging FIRST Robotics Competition.

Betty Newsome

I’m an electrician at Delphi Packard Electric. I’ve been working at Delphi for 9 years. This is my first year on the robotics team. I joined the team because I really enjoy working with the students. So far this has been a great experience for me.

Dr. Gordon Skelton

I am an associate professor in the Computer Engineering Department at Jackson State University. I have a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of South Africa. My interest include engineering education, software engineering, and robotics. I enjoy the experience of learning with the Provine Robotics Team!

Qing Pang

I am a research associate in the Computer Engineering Department as Jackson State University.  I have a masters degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.  I really enjoy working with the Provine Robotics Team

I’m an engineer at Delphi Corp. I have bachelor’s degrees in physics and electrical engineering from Xavier University and Southern University respectively. I have a master’s degree in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University. I joined the robotics team to inspire young ladies to consider engineering as a career choice and to also be a positive role model for all of the students.

Sean Hayes

This is my fourth year on the robotics team. I am a tool & die maker at Delphi Automotive Systems with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. I enjoy being on the team because it impacts local students in the fields of math and science. The robotic competition shows the students the wide range of possibilities in math and science not ordinarily seen at most high schools across the country. Go RAMS, Team 462!

Cornell Rachal

I am an engineer at Delphi Corporation. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern University. This is my third year on the team. I like First Robotics because it is a fun way to expose young people to technical fields, who otherwise might not have an opportunity. Also, you get to build a robot. How cool is that!

Mike Peacock

I'm a process/manufacturing engineer at Delphi. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. The FIRST competition is a great opportunity both for students to learn about technology, problem solving, and team work. The competition also exposes everyone to people from other parts of the country and other parts of the world.

I am an application developer in I.T. at Delphi Corporation. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University (2000) and a M.B.A. from Millsaps College (2004). My hometown is Ponchatoula, Louisiana. I joined Team 462 to get students excited about careers in science and technology and to mentor them in computer programming.

Roderick Jackson

Roderick is a Mechanical Engineer who is currently pursuing higher education at Georgia Institute of Technology. Although he is far away and busy with his studies, Roderick still takes an active interest in the team. He was a four-year veteran of F.I.R.S.T. in his years at Delphi and has served as captain on Team 462. Roderick holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Reason for Participating in F.I.R.S.T.: "I joined the Rambunctious Rams to inspire minority youth into science related fields."

I am a Geospatial Applications Programmer at Radiance Technologies. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University. This is my first year working with the robotics team. I am glad to be able to give back to the students and try to expand their interest in engineering and technology.

Joshua Etchison

I am a junior at Jackson State University persuing a B.S. in Computer Engineering.  I have been participating with the Provine Robotics Team for three years.  I joined Team 462 because I am enthusiastic about encouraging young scholars to be innovative and mechanically inclined.  I hope that my passion for building robots will influence an interest, in the students at Provine, to pursue an education in the sciences and technology.  This work also gives me the opportunity to build robots; an opportunity I never would have had otherwise.
